Somerset Lake Civic Association
This is an informal, but quite well attended community meeting
held on the second Tuesday of each month between 7:30-9:30pm at the Lake
House. The SLCA has its own budget and chairpersons who serve as discussion
leaders/facilitators. The meeting is open to everyone. There are frequent
guest speakers and invited speakers from the local government and business
communities. The police frequently visit to discuss local matters. The
meeting is also regularly attended by the Somerset
Lake Service Corporation Directors to hear regular feedback from the
community. These meetings serve as a general open forum to discuss and
address all issues of concern to the community.

New Garden Township Board of Supervisors
This is the local government with probably the most influence on
most local issues. Meetings are at the New Garden Township building. This
is also where you will get permits to build anything.
